Chamonix Mont Blanc Provides an Exceptional Domain for Ski Breaks

Chamonix Haute Savoie is found at the base of the magnificent Mount Blanc in the French Alps and is generally recognized as the mixed climbing and snowboarding centre of France. Chamonix is known as a veritable resort for extreme sports in summer and winter. It was home to the inaugural Winter Olympics back in the early 1920s - however it is also a domain of outstanding views offering a lot to the mountaineer and tourist.
Unlike many purpose built snowboarding resorts Chamonix isn’t a souless skiing resort and has been mostly saved from the concrete resorts that blights a lot of the French Alps. It is fortunate to have not only an internationally renowned snowboarding area on the other hand a grand and thriving centre.
The town is big enough to insure there’s a lot of activities for the tourist to do and see. However you choose to enjoy your vacation theres something to suit everyone. From a large swimming center, beauty salons, cinema and weekly market with fresh local produce; and a plethora of designer boutiques, luxury chalets, bars and night-clubs, Chamonix privides a mix of climbing, atmosphere and aprs ski, which few skiing domains can equal.
