Bringing The Street To Your Home : Graffiti Canvas Art

The underlying rule of stencilling is producing outlines via cutting shapes, and spraying paint within these cutout shapes - making distinct graphics on the surface underneath. Sometimes multiple layers of stencils are used on the same image to add colours or create the illusion of depth.

Love and Life Lessons

Recent events in my life have taught me that the best thing to do in any situation is just to love people. How can I be a better friend, a better Son, Brother or Sister, etc. So often we go through life and we don’t really take the time to just simply love people.

For example I hop on a bus, I’ve got all this time to take interest in other people, en yet I just sit to myself, and pass the time, just wondering what others are up to. Most likely someone will come on, something about them will set an emotion off inside of me, and I will be quick to judge them. “What is that guy thinking dressing like that”.

If you can relate to me in this way, I’ve realized that love is the answer. Love. What is love?

Love is patient, Love is kind, It does not envy, it does not boast, It is not proud, It is not rude, It is not self-seeking, It is not easily angered, It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. Love never fails.

Now if quoting Corinthians 13:4-8 Is going to do it for you… What really is love though and what does it look like?

Love is genuine: “Don’t just pretend that you love others. Really love them” - Romans 12:9. Love is taking a moment to talk to the person sitting next to you on the bus, taking an honest interest in their life? Love is offering your seat to someone who is standing? Love is saying a prayer for the people riding with you, asking God to bless them. Love doesn’t mean holding hands and kissing the gentleman sitting next to you.

I’ve started to see in my life that as I open up to love people, it’s amazing at how things have changed in my. I heard this story of a girl walking home from school, terribly depressed and down on life. Ready to commit suicide when she arrives home, as she has just had enough. A classmate who had never spoken to her, comes up and asks if he can carry her books, and walk with her. Coles notes version is that because of the Love expressed by that boy, she didn’t commit suicide and found new meaning in her life. We think of saving lives as firefighters and police officers. What about that boy? Is he a lifesaver? He didn’t boldy enter a burning building or stop a fire. He simply just took the time to love.

My first response was and the one that I hear from most people is: I’m too busy, or I love enough already. I’d say if you honestly answer those questions you’d have the same response as I have. I’m not too busy. I just manage my time badly. I’m riding the bus anyways. Why not love the guy sitting next to me. I love enough already. There is never a time or a place in your life that you will love enough.

Coins

Nowadays, coins can be found anywhere monetary transaction occurs. Coins are a part of our everyday lives and to be without them is unimaginable.

A distinguishing mark of a free nation is the right to issue coins. In the United States, that right was exercised in 1792, when Pattern Coins were first issued. During 1793, copper coins were circulated, followed by silver and gold coins. Before 1972, business was conducted using a combination of tokens, counterfeits, coins and medals issued by private individuals, in private mints inside America and in official mints found outside the country. These coins are known as “Colonial.”

The origin of ancient coins in the Mediterranean region lacked evidence and remains a source of speculation. Chinese coins developed independently near the end of the sixth century. By then, Mediterranean coins were already established. The Greeks were credited for the development of the first coins in the Greek city states of Asia Minor or the Lydian kingdom.

One indication that the earliest electrum coins originated from Lydia is the distribution of standards of weights that they follow. Other indications that Lydia had played a part in the origin of coins in the Mediterranean is the earliest known coin depicts an origin typical of Lydia The Ephesian Artemisium, the temple dedicated to the Goddess Artemis and others found throughout Asia Minor are always made of electrum. The peculiarity of the use of electrum for the first coins may be attributed to its natural occurrence in Lydia. Presumably, Lydian style coins were found in both Phrygia and Ionia, indicating that the popular use of the coinage. The reason or the motivation behind the minting of the first coins remains uncertain. Recently, a mounting abundance of a small fraction of electrum in coinage has been found. This probably indicates that the first coins were minted primarily for big transactions.

What makes hot sauce hot?

Capsaicin is the active chemical compound that makes chili peppers “hot”. This is why they call it hot sauce!. It is the plants natural adaptation for deterring plant eating animals. Capsaicin will irritate any part of the human body that it comes into contact with. Different chili peppers contain varying amounts of capsaicin. Capsaicin is mostly found inside the core of the pepper pod as well as on the external skin. It is therefore essential that latex or rubber gloves are worn not only when cooking with very hot peppers but also when harvesting and handling them. The chemical compound can produce a waxy appearance on the outside of the pepper pod. If you find yourself in a situation in which you are experiencing the physiological effects of capsaicin overload, it is best to either consume dairy products such as milk or hard alcohol. The compounds found in milk block capsaicin receptor sites in the mouth while alcohol is effective in dissipating the capsaicin compound so that it can be swallowed. Drinking water will often spread the irritation, so try to avoid it. Capsaicin that gets on your skin will not degenerate significantly from washing with soap and water. I often use rubbing alcohol when I find that my hands are burning because of an accidental transfer of capsaicin. I would not recommend this for everyone, since some people with sensitive skin may have a negative reaction to rubbing alcohol.
