The survey that asked the respondents to rate different mobile broadband providers in terms of usability, simplicity of the initial setup and responsiveness of customer service found Virgin Media to be an emphatic choice of the customers on all three fronts. O2 mobile broadband shared the top spot with Virgin in the customer service category, while Vodafone came at the bottom in the initial setup ease category.
Virgin’s Managing director of mobile Graeme Oxby said that it was a great achievement for the company, which has been striving to provide high quality service to its customers. He also emphasized that usability, high standard of customer service and simplicity are at the core of Virgin’s offerings, be it mobile or fixed line.
It must be noted that the survey results can not be treated as a definite indication of marketplace reality, as only a few days back a survey by YouGov had come out with results showing T-Mobile to be on top of the customers’ list, as overwhelmingly as this time it is Virgin.
